3D CAD

I’ve often used CAD to create products and designs that I can use to make a higher quality of life; this includes items such as a pen holder that attaches to the top of my drawing tablet, a phone cradle that firmly sits in the corner of that same monitor, and a combination of the two.

Along with these holders, I created a general use wall mount for various tools, the unit being too big for most 3D printers meant I had to divide it into two segments, and figure a way of having them hold together firmly whilst adhesive was applied. To achieve this I used a unifying tooth system between the pieces, and in application it worked exactly as planned.

Another everyday item I have designed is the my coaster, which is probably the most frequently used product here. Its designed with a wide base so it can comfortably take nearly all mugs and cups, and has a rune-like design on the top to make it more appealing.

After picking up hobby electronics, I also decided to create a holder and spindle to hold wire for myself. Knowing I will be using multiple colours and will need a few of these, I decided to add a joint to the bottom of the unit, so they can firmly attach together with ease.
